Describe your host?[My hosts] went all out to ensure my husband and I were comfortable and had a great time! This whole experience was a surprise for my husband and our hosts even celebrated my husband's belated birthday in their special way. We loved every minute spent with them and have promised to keep in touch.
What did you talk about during your Nagomi Visit?We exchanged so much, including about our different cultures, food habits, also gifts, and more. We even had a calligraphy session with them and learned so much. We also visited a shrine in the neighborhood and a supermarket. Both were great!
Did you make any new discoveries?Yes, definitely! We learned so much about Japanese culture, and food, and got the opportunity to visit a Japanese home for the first time.
What did you eat?Izumi is an excellent cook. We had delicious Bento boxes, desserts, and fruits. The food was awesome!
If you participated with others, what were their thoughts about the Nagomi Visit?It was a wonderful experience for both my husband and me.
What was your most memorable moment?The excitement building up as I was planning the surprise for my husband with [my hosts] was fun! It was a wonderful afternoon spent with them.
